Old telephone pole

Sometimes we see things that immediately attract the eye, and we know: this is something else and new and so exciting! This backdrop shows an old telephone pole near the beach and an ancient aqueduct!

And when I was photographing it, an older lady came to ask me why I was photographing it. So I tried to explain that I shoot surfaces for backdrops, but she didn’t understand. So I said: for food photography, as un underground. And then she understood it but asked again: but why this? And I said: Because it’s different. And she said yes, it is. ‘Thank you for answering my question; gotta learn something new daily.’

We never forget some things in food photography, and this is one of those moments.

This vinyl backdrop is perfect for product photography as well as dishes. You can hang them with clamps on a wooden plank as a background. Roll them out before using them so they will flatten. Do not cut on the backdrop, put hot pots or pans, burn or scratch it, and do not drag plates or props over it, as it might leave stripes on the backdrop. Colors may differ from the actual print due to differences in screen resolution, or as you can see per picture with the post editing.
